Aging Skin

Hello Beautiful!

Although loss of skin tone is inevitable with age, there are ways to postpone it. Regular facial messages and nourishing moisture masks can help to delay the onset of wrinkles and improve their appearance when they do arrive.

As we get older, lower hormone levels reduce the skins production of sebum. If you have particularity oily skin, you may be grateful at first, since your skins will be less prone to blemishes and spots. However, as the level of sebum drops still further, your skin can become sensitive and dry, and this will increase the development of fine lines and wrinkling.

Fortunately, facial massages stimulates blood circulation and the production of collagen while facial scrubs remove dead skin and stimulates cell renewal. Extra – rich night creams and moisturizing treatments are also effective in keeping older skin soft and hydrated.

Weekly anti-wrinkle treatment

This facial treatment smooths the skin and reduces any redness and blotchiness. The honey and apple cider vinegar help to restore the skin’s natural acid balance, while the yeast is rich in vitamin B, which helps to prevent flaky, eczema-type dryness and skin mottling.

1 tbsp (15 ml) brewer’s yeast

1 tbsp (15 ml) wheat gram oil

1 tsp (5 ml) honey

One egg yolk

1 tbsp (15 ml) plain yogurt

1/ tsp (2.5 ml) apple cider vinegar

Put the brewer’s yeast, oil, and honey into a bowl and beat in the egg yolk. Gradually beat in the yogurt and then the cider vinegar. It should have a thick, creamy texture that will not run when applied to the face.

Spread the mixture over your face, then lie down and relax in a warm comfortable room for 30 minutes. Rinse off with warm water then splash your face and neck with cold water and pat dry.

Stay Beautiful
