Alpha Hydroxy Acids

Hello Beautiful!

I am going to share with you a tip that helps make my skin look super smooth. Living in the Midwest makes my skin dry for most of the year. My elbows, knees, and face all get super dry and quit honestly, they do not look or feel the way that I want them to. I have found an organic chemical called alpha hydroxy acids. Alpha hydroxy acids decrease dryness in the skin, so your skin will be hydrated and look absolutely amazing.

Alpha hydroxy acids (AHA) help with dry skin, skin spots, and dark spots. Actually, over time, your skin will start to look firmer and feel hydrated while using alpha hydroxy acids. So, it’s like a bonus face lift! Individuals have also found that while using AHA products, the skin spots or dark spots have decreased, or the colorings have gone away.

AHA’s are a combination of multiple different organic chemicals. Some of those chemicals include glycolic, lactic, citric, pyruvic, malic, and tartaric acids. They are also known as the fruit acids because the acids come from fruit. AHA’s are not classified as drugs so lots of beauty products contain AHA’s already. A few of the products you may know are Mario Badescu products, Neutrogena, La Prairie, and L’Oreal.

Believe it or not, AHA’s have been around since Cleopatra!! No wonder why she was known for her beautiful skin.

So, if you want to have as beautiful skin as historians describe Cleopatra, then look for products that contain AHA. Of course, read the directions and do your own research on the products, because everyone’s skin is different, and your skin may react to AHA’s a different way than mine does.

And shoot, if I get hydrated skin that will start to look firmer while I use a product, you better count me in! Some of the products you already use may have AHA’s in them, so check those labels.

-Stay Beautiful-
